Proofing Method: I have an extensive checklist for proofing each transcript. Some of the items on the list are: consistency of dates, correct capitalization, proper use of hyphens and apostrophes, spelling of participant names, accurate spelling of locations, abbreviations, and generic/brand names of drugs and products.
